The second day of the itinerary is dedicated to visiting some of the most representative places in Cusco and the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a fertile territory where ancestral culture is still alive. Here you will understand why Machu Picchu and Cusco are part of the same cultural universe that cannot be separated.

The tour includes stops at iconic sites such as:

• Sacsayhuamán, one of the most impressive constructions of the Inca empire, with enormous finely assembled stone walls.
• Qenqo, an archaeological complex located just 4 km from the center of Cusco, considered an important ceremonial sanctuary due to its underground galleries and channels carved into the rock.
• Pisac, famous both for its picturesque artisan market and its Inca agricultural terraces, which descend harmoniously with the mountains.

After visiting these impressive sites, we will continue on to Urubamba, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch surrounded by Andean scenery. Then, we will head to the hotel to rest and prepare for the next day.

On the third day of the itinerary, we will explore three essential sites in the Sacred Valley of the Incas:

• Moray, known as the “Inca agricultural laboratory.” Its concentric circular terraces are unique in the world and demonstrate the ingenuity of the Incas, who experimented with different microclimates to improve their crops.
• Maras, an Andean village famous for the Maras Salt Mines, which have been in operation since Inca times. With more than 3,000 salt pools glistening in the sun, this place is a visual spectacle and a clear example of how ancestral knowledge remains alive today. Here we will learn about the artisanal process of salt extraction, passed down from generation to generation.
• Ollantaytambo, an archaeological site that preserves the most authentic Inca urban layout. Walking through its cobbled streets is like going back several centuries and feeling the life of an Inca village still alive.

After this visit, we will experience one of the most eagerly awaited moments: the train ride to Aguas Calientes. The journey itself is a natural spectacle, with landscapes that transition from the Andean highlands to the cloud forest, accompanied by mountains, rivers, and canyons.

Finally, we will arrive in Aguas Calientes, the base town for Machu Picchu. The atmosphere here is vibrant, with travelers from all over the world sharing the same excitement: being just a step away from the Inca wonder.

This day is the highlight of the trip: the long-awaited visit to Machu Picchu. Taking the tour in the morning will make your experience even better, as the early hours allow you to enter with fewer visitors and enjoy the citadel in a more peaceful atmosphere.

Very early in the morning, we will board the tourist bus that will take us to the entrance of Machu Picchu.

The official tour is organized into circuits, which allows for a better distribution of visitors. Depending on availability, we will be able to access any of them.

The guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours, enough time to marvel at the panoramic views and visit the most outstanding areas of the Inca citadel: the agricultural areas, temples, squares, and sacred sites.

After the tour, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our private transportation will be waiting to take you back to Cusco.

The last day marks the end of this unforgettable experience, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be any more special moments. Depending on your flight schedule, you can spend the morning going for a light walk, visiting a nearby museum, or simply relaxing in a cozy café overlooking the Plaza de Armas.

At the appointed time, our team will transfer you from the hotel to Cusco Airport, assisting you at all times to ensure your departure is comfortable and on time.
